Book now to reserve your spot on the Meskwaki bottle school trip: March 17-23rd, 2014

If everyone gives, everyone gets.

During spring break of March 2014 a group of Meskwaki High School Seniors Class of 2014, along with other brave souls will embark upon an epic journey. You, the future leaders of our community will experience a glimpse of what life is like for another indigenous community. Our hopes are that each individual will see and understand what it means to come together as a community with little means (but much heart) to fulfill a dream of educating a new generation. Together we can carry the message that we are the result of a similar dream by our ancestors; proof that dreams do come true. It is also our hope that this trip will touch the hearts of our youth and make a positive impact on the communities we visit. May we see ourselves in each other and carry that blessing into our futures. Thank you for being here.

Fundraising for bottle schools

You might also like to fundraise for Hug It Forward bottle schools. Fundraising for bottle schools is optional – it is not a requirement of participating in a bottle school trip.

If you choose to fundraise, we suggest a $250 fundraising goal, but some people choose to do more or less than this. It’s really up to you – how much you think your friends and families can give, how creative you can be, and how much time you’re prepared to put into it.
