Book now to reserve your spot on Kautia’s bottle school trip: July 10-16, 2014

A Voluntourism Trip gives you the opportunity to volunteer while traveling, work alongside kids and adults in the community, and experience Guatemalan culture. It’s not your typical vacation: it’s all about participating and connecting, serving and giving back. As well as helping to build a bottle school, you will experience life in the beautiful country of Guatemala through the eyes of members of the community. You will also visit Mayan ruins, walk the streets of the picturesque colonial town of Antigua (a UNESCO World Heritage Center), experience Guatemalan culture and hospitality, and hear first hand what it was like to live through a civil war. Come join us on a trip that will connect you with a group of unfamiliar people that are collectively trying to create a better future for their children.

Fundraising for bottle schools

You might also like to fundraise for Hug It Forward bottle schools. Fundraising for bottle schools is optional – it is not a requirement of participating in a bottle school trip.

If you choose to fundraise, we suggest a $250 fundraising goal, but some people choose to do more or less than this. It’s really up to you – how much you think your friends and families can give, how creative you can be, and how much time you’re prepared to put into it.

See more information about fundraising.
